Destroying & Rebuilding

I don’t know if this seems to be the appropriate title but that is the only thing i can come up with. yesterday at class A lawyer from the United States comes to lecture my class and while he was introducing himself he mentioned something I thought is worth sharing! 

He practiced law for 14 years and now come to Ethiopia to work with USAID. He said, talking about his carrier, that the first Job he had was with the US Air Force and he do contracts like buying Bomb all the time. he said, “I was wondering why they make me buy bombs on and on for such a long time, finally they used the bombs to destroy Afghanistan, It’s funny because as soon as I left the Air force and join USAID my first and primary task was rebuilding Afghanistan.” 

That was an interesting insight about how the world really works and why it’s a tough thing to be in politics! I just wonder when this games comes to an end, even thought it seems a total impossibility!
